Kile, kile, kile, karja,
võta vikat selgä,
aja mulle einä!
Mina einä lehmäle,
lehem mulle pippi;
mina pippi põs´sale,
põs´sa mulle külge;
mina külge hämmäle,
hämm mulle kakku;
mina kakku Kal´eville,
Kal´ev mulle rauda;
mina rauda tammele,
tamm mulle leste;
mina leste ut´ele,
ut´t mulle villa.
Mina villuss villikesed,
karjusselle kalsukesed,
sulaselle sukukesed,
enel eenämütsikene.
Billy, Billy, Billy, get to the pasture,
take up a sickle,
and mow me some hay!
I'll give the hay to the cow,
and the cow will give me some milky;
I'll give the milky to the piggy,
and the piggy will give me a side of bacon;
I'll give the bacon to granny,
and granny will bake me a bun;
I'll give the bun to Kalev,
Kalev will give me a steel [blade];
I'll take the steel to the oak,
the oak will give me leaves;
I'll take the leaves to the ewe,
the ewe will give me wool.
From the wool I'll get felt slippers,
pants for the herder boy,
stockings for the servant boy,
a meadowcap for myself.
