Transport
Tartu connects to the world primarily through Tallinn International Airport. The most convenient way to reach Tartu from Tallinn is by Lux Express coach, with departures every 30 minutes from both Tallinn Airport and the Tallinn Coach Station. The journey takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes. Lux Express coaches offer free Wi-Fi, complimentary hot beverages, and an onboard entertainment system. The return journey also includes a stop at the airport.
- Tartu also has a small regional airport, offering two daily flights between Tartu and Helsinki, operated by Finnair
- By Air: Direct flights with Finnair to Tartu (Ülenurme) Airport from Helsinki (Vantaa) Airport; connect via taxi or bus to Tartu city centre (10 min);

- By Bus: Direct coach from Tallinn Airport to Tartu Coach Station, approximately 2:15 hours. Buses arrive at the central Tartu Bus Station, which is within walking distance of most major conference venues and hotels.
