An archaeologist by training, his main research has focused on (pre)historic religions in Estonia and on the materiality of religion as a method. In addition, he has been involved in several research projects to study historical and contemporary religions in Iceland and in Finnish Lapland.<br>In this project Jonuks studies the representative organisations of S\u00e1pmi, on the territory of Norway, Sweden and Finland. The research is planned as a multilevel study, by collecting data about the representative organisations from the web and by in-person interviews with spokespersons of the organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00f5nno Jonuks on Eesti Kirjandusmuuseumi juhtivteadur ja Tallinna \u00dclikooli teadur. Jonuks on hariduselt arheoloog ning tema peamine uurimisteema on olnud (esi)ajalooline religioon Eestis ning religiooni materiaalsus laiema meetodina. Lisaks on Jonuks olnud seotud mitmete uurimisprojektidega anal\u00fc\u00fcsimaks nii ajaloolist kui ka kaasaegset religiooni Islandil ja P\u00f5hja-Soomes.<br>Selles projektis vaatleb Jonuks saamide esindusorganisatsioone Norras, Rootsis ja Soomes.
