Anna Kuznetsova (born 1991), is a PhD student at the University of Tartu, and has studied language policies of the Finno-Ugric regions of Russia and institutions working on the issues of the Russian Finno-Ugric peoples using the examples of the Komi, Sami, and Karelians. She is working on a thesis devoted to the activities, policies, and transformation processes of governmental (ministries, state agencies), non-governmental non-profit organizations, and educational institutions working with the Finno-Ugric peoples of Russia. She has studied the ethnopolitical institutions of these regions and has analysed in what way the organisations protect the interests of the indigenous population. Currently, A. Kuznetsova is working on research on language and social situations in the given regions as well as on the changes in organisations’ activities during wartime. Comparative analysis, interviews, and content analysis of documents are among the research methods she uses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ta t\u00f6\u00f6tab v\u00e4itekirjaga, mis on p\u00fchendatud Venemaa soome-ugri rahvastega koost\u00f6\u00f6d tegevate valitsus- (ministeeriumid, riiklikud asutused), valitsusv\u00e4liste mittetulundus\u00fchingute ja haridusasutuste tegevust, poliitikat ja \u00fcmberkujundamise protsesse. Ta on uurinud nimetatud piirkondade etnopoliitilisi institutsioone ja vaadelnud, kuidas organisatsioonid kaitsevad p\u00f5lisrahvastiku huve. Praegu uurib tema praeguseid keelte ning sotsiaalolukorrdi sellistes piirkondades, kui ka institutsioonide tegevuste muutusi s\u00f5ja ajal. Tema uurimismeetodite hulgas on v\u00f5rdlevanal\u00fc\u00fcs, intervjuud, dokumentide siseanal\u00fc\u00fcs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
