She has studied the role of ethnocosmology and myths in creating social identities; ethnic component in neo-religions, and the role of small cultures and languages in sociocultural landscape. K\u00f5iva participates in international networks and working groups that study the abovementioned topics. She has organised several international workshops on the issue, like \u201eIndigenous Knowledge\/Saberes Ind\u00edgenas:. Cosmology of indigenous peoples\u201c (2018, Florianapolis, Brazil), etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EKM juhtivteadur, Academia Europea liige. Tema uurimisteemad on etnokosmoloogiate ja m\u00fc\u00fctide osa identiteedi loomisel; etnilisuse kasutamine uus-usundites, looduslike p\u00fchapaikade loomise ja taaskasutamise trendid ja rituaalide loomine; v\u00e4ikeste keelte ja kultuuride roll sotsiaalkultuurilisel maastikul.
