At the Polish-Estonian meeting on October 28. and 29., we decided upon the following:
Your article should be sent to the project leaders / editors by the 29th of February 2012;
It is best to send it to all three addresses: chlopicki@gmail.com, dorbrzo@gmail.com, and liispet@gmail.com;
The paper should be proofread by a native speaker of English before sending it to the editors. If this should not be possible for any reason, send an EARLY notice to at least one of the editors and we will try to find a solution. Still, we urge you to find a proofreader on your own for the best results;
The paper should be ca 35000 to 50000 characters (9 to 12 pages if you write with the font of 10pts);
The paper will then be edited (we would also want to go through a peer-review process). Suggestions will be sent back to the authors as soon as possible;
Editing process will take place during spring and summer 2012;
The book together with short (one page) summaries (comparisons of the results) of the paired papers will be published by October 2012.

Project
The principal aim of the cooperation project is to approach the role of creativity and tradition in Eastern European cultural space, addressing different genres of folklore. The project deals with expressions of traditional folklore in the new media of the rapidly transforming post-socialist societies. These will be studied through the analysis of media texts and other contemporary (folkloric) narratives, and results about how political and economic transformations influence culture will be formulated. More details from here.
