Bibliography workshop

The bibliography workshop is a good reason for the collaborators and audience of the Internationale Volkskundliche Bibliographie (IVB) to come together and talk about our future work. The aim of the workshop is to discuss the bibliographical terminology we intend to use in compiling the electronic catalogue. As data will be available over the Internet, the key words in English, German and French should be mutually related and uniquely understandable to all ethnologists, ethnographers, folklorists, cultural anthropologists, and historians of different culture areas. Therefore it is vital that the potential discourse focus on terminology, which is used in a special field of ethnology or folkloristics and is congruous with the research traditions of particular countries.
